Although A Levels are subject to a lot of scaling the general grade boundaries are as follows:

  • A: 80% +
  • B: 70% - 79%
  • C: 60% - 69%
  • D: 50% - 59%
  • E: 40% - 49%
  • F: Less than 30 percent
  • U: Unclassifiable
